Store Clerk
SCOPE:
Under the direction of the Sports Store Supervisor, provide positive service and sales to all prospective customers in a friendly and timely manner in a clean and organized environment.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Retail Sales & Customer Service, in a friendly “Guest Support” manner.
- Store and skate shop cleanliness
- Opening and closing store procedures
- Skate sharpening and possible repairs
- Simple equipment repairs & maintenance within the Sport Store.
- Stock must be monitored and all inventory kept clean and the shelves replenished when needed.
- Product receiving
- Maintenance of equipment
- Report to the Sports Store Supervisor all relative information, including but not limited to shift changes, problems, and trends in sales by way of customer requests or problems.
- As a member of the facility team, receive direction and support the facility in areas directed by the Supervisor and / or Manager on Duty.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Flexible to work days, evenings and weekends
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Customer service
- Hockey knowledge
- Computer skills
- Cash handling experience
- Retail sales
- Ability to work flexible schedules, primarily evenings & weekends.
