Steward / Dishwasher

THE ROLE

To clean, transport and store all china, glassware, silverware and pots/pans.  Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and garbage machines, all kitchen and banquet back areas.

JOB SUMMARY

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle and pot washing areas

• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.

• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.

• Clean all dirty pots and pans in kitchen

• Clean soup kettles, frying pans in main kitchen and banquet kitchen

• Maintain temperature charts for dishwasher and pot washing areas
