Floor Supervisor

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Pit and Games Managers Floor Supervisor’s are expected to provide stellar customer service to patrons as well as ensuring table game security in their designated section.

 

  • Responsible for checking dealers accuracies pertaining to money and chip transactions at gaming tables
  • Coach and provide support to front line associates to help bring their skills to the next level
  • Provide information to guests about up and coming events at the resort
  • Supervise assigned areas and gaming activity to ensure protection of casino assets, integrity of games and compliance with AGLC regulations. 
  • Provide information on suspicious table activity to the Pit Manager and/or the Games Manager.
  • Rate players based on their action on the gaming floor
  • Be an active participant in our Circle of Service program by completing evaluations for designated team members.
  • Participate in the general evaluation process for front line associates

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide assistance and expertise when dealing with concerns or disputes between customers and the game/house.
  • Provide information on suspicious table activity to the Pit Manager and/or the Games Manager.
  • Assist with associate assessments.
  • Participate and report on player and game activity.
  • Other duties as required.

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

  • High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education an asset.
  • Post-secondary education an asset.
  • Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated experience as a 4 Game Dealer with a full knowledge and experience in dealing the following games: Blackjack, Baccarat, Proprietary Games, Roulette and either Pai Gow Tiles or Craps.
  • Knowledge of advantage and cheating at play on games being supervised.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain an AGLC Gaming Workers License.
  • 3-4 years experience in the casino industry.
  • Minimum 2 yearx demonstrated experience as Dealer.
  • Experience with table games, rules, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor associates.
  • Excellent interaction skills with the public
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor associates.
  • Able to work in high stress environments and dealing with conflict situations.
  • Able to work in a smoking environment.
