Outlet Manager

THE ROLE

 

Reporting to the Director of F&B, the Outlet Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the outlet within the Food and Beverag Department at the Casino. This will include ordering inventory, inventory controls budgeting and cash floats. He/she will provide direct quest staff and management interface with regards to River Cree Resort and Casino operations. The Outlet Manager will be expected to assist Director F&B in their day to day function.

• Actively promotes an environment conducive to high quality customer service and employee relations by being a positive leadership example.
• Oversee supervisors roles and functions and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Responsible for scheduling, payroll, disciplinary actions, training and mentoring for staff.
• Work with Marketing & Advertising to promote outlet.
• Create, manage and implement departmental policies & procedure.
• Understand security requirements.
• Ensure maintenance of safety and sanitation standards and policies
• Provide overall direction, coordination, and ongoing evaluation of operations.
• Understand basic asset management.
• Budgetary, projections, and cost control skills to be applied to the daily operations of the Department as outlined by the Manager.
• Step into a supervisor role if required when supervisors are absent.
• Use a "hands-on" approach to management

THE INDIVIDUAL

• 4-5 years experience in the Food & Beverage Industry.
• 3-4 years demonstrated experience in management within the Food & Beverage Industry.
• Experience in a casino setting preferred.
• Post secondary education in a related field preferred but not required.
• Training in management and employee development preferred but not required.
• Continuous training and education to keep abreast of changes in the industry and external environment.
