Surveillance Shift Supervisor

THE COMPANY
River Cree Resort and Casino is a full-service/state of the art hotel and entertainment establishment located on the Enoch Nation (outside of Edmonton, Alberta). You will be involved in creating a culture based on outstanding customer service and customer loyalty.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Surveillance Manager, the Surveillance Shift Supervisor leads a group of Surveillance operators who monitor the premises using electronic surveillance equipment and will report suspicious activities to the appropriate management parties. Supervisor will oversee the shift they are assigned and ensure policies are enforced as mandated by the Surveillance Manager.
JOB SUMMARY
- Oversee Surveillance operation on assigned shift and ensure staff follow all established procedure of the department and the company
- Coach and mentor all Surveillance staff
- Submit daily reports on behalf of the Surveillance department to Executive of Paragon Gaming and River Cree Resort/Casino
- Responsible for implementing emergency procedures as stated in the Surveillance Procedure Guide in case of an emergency that impacts the Surveillance Operation
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Surveillance Manager
- The Surveillance Shift Supervisor may be required to sit for extended periods of time in a darkly lit room with several monitors and computers. The Surveillance Manager would require the applicant to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Proven leadership skills
- Knowledge of River Cree and AGLC policies and procedures
- Successfully completed all required table game training up to Roulette
- The ability to honour confidential and private information
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective computer skills, especially related to MS Office and databases
- The ability to work all shifts
- Excellent interpersonal skills
