Security Shift Supervisor

PURPOSE
A structured Security Supervisor role is critical to the success of the River Cree Resort & Casino.
The primary responsibility of the Security Supervisor is to ensure all regulations, policies,
laws and procedures are enforced
ROLES
The Security Supervisor supervises a team of security officers to create a safe, secure environment for
guests and associates. In addition the Security Supervisor will be responsible for the timely investigation,
reporting and documentation of incidents that occur on the resort.
- Supervise a team of 7 security officers.
- Assign duties to security personnel on a day to day basis.
- Provide supervision and guidance to security personnel to ensure security coverage is adequate for the maximum security and safety of all guests and associates.
- Ensure the security of the Resort and immediate surrounding area.
- Ensure all money is properly secured guarded and conveyed at all times.
- Be completely familiar with the physical layout of the Resort.
- Ensure all breaches of security are reported and recommend corrective action as required.
- Investigate accidents, reports of theft, vandalism other occurrences and complaints from associates or customers thoroughly and completely.
- Maintain awareness of gaming operation at all times and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
Mentor maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Comply with safety procedures including
use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The Security Supervisor should have a minimum of 5 years security, or combination of training education and experience. Education in related field of study including law enforcement would be an asset. The Security Supervisor must possess excellent communication skill both written and verbal. The successful candidate should be able to diffuse difficult situations without the use of force.
