Dual Rate Pit Manager

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Games Manager, this position requires the ability to communicate clearly,
deal tactfully and work effectively with River Cree Resort & Casino guests, associates and management; specifically, members of the Table Games department. The incumbent in this position will provide an interface to other Resort & Casino departments.
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for the daily operations of the casino table games including scheduling, payroll,
disciplinary actions, training & mentoring of casino staff.
- Monitor and have expert knowledge of advantage & cheating at play at casino table games.
- Ensure Money/Chips flow according to AGLC terms and conditions.
- Coach and provide support to associates for increased effectiveness.
- Provide support on rules and procedures of games to guests and associates.
- Provide assistance and expertise when dealing with concerns or disputes between customers and
the game/house and ensures the well-being of associates.
- Provide information on suspicious table activity to the Games Manager and surveillance operators.
- Handle assigned projects and portfolios.
- Other duties as required.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education an asset.
- 4-5 years experience in the casino industry.
- Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience as Pit Manager.
- Minimum 1-2 years demonstrated experience as a Floor Supervisor with a full knowledge and
experience in supervising the following games: Blackjack, Baccarat, Proprietary Games,
Roulette and either Pai Gow Tiles or Craps.
- Ability to obtain or maintain an AGLC Gaming Workers License.
- Computer skills: Familiar with MS office applications.
- Experience with table games, rules, and procedures.
- Has experience in customer service and leadership.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor associates.
- Able to work in high stress environments (work load, conflict situations, etc).
