Pit Clerk
THE ROLE
The Pit Clerk, reporting to the Financial Controller, will be responsible for providing a value-added experience to all Casino guests throughout the Table Games Department. The Pit Clerk will be responsible for assisting Table Games Management requests with a strong emphasis on accurate data entry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Data entry of Table Games player rating slip entries.
- Data entry of new guest information.
- Fill / Credit entry
- Providing player information to Casino Management staff.
- Maintain records in compliance with current legal requirements.
- Attend any training that is required and approved by Management.
- Adhere to Resort Health and Safety Policies at all times.
- Any other duties as required by Management.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Grade 12 High School diploma.
- Proficient user of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
- AGLC License required.
- Dynamic and outgoing personality
- Self motivated with a customer service experience background
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (verbal, written and spoken)
- Enthusiasm for problem-solving and working within a team to develop solutions.
- Knowledge of table games is preferred but not necessary.
- Experience within and understanding of the hospitality or gaming industry an asset.
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
- Self-starter comfortable working both in a team environment and independently.
- Detail oriented and a keen learner
