Non-Gaming Cashier

 

THE ROLE

The Non Gaming Cashier, reporting to the Financial Controller, will be primarily responsible for ensuring correct charging of cover charges at the Resort’s Lounge and/or Food & Beverage outlets.

 

• Monitor complimentary entry into the Lounge ensuring correct paperwork is completed and authorized.
• Post all cover charges in Micros POS.
• Cash out front till at the end of daily business in accordance with Resort cash out policy.
• Assist with any reconciliation between the Resort and promoters.
• Attend any training that is required and approved by Management.
• Adhere to Resort Health and Safety Policies at all times.
• Any other duties as required by Management.

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

 

• Grade 12 High School diploma and supplemental accounting education.
• Attention to detail with excellent data entry skills in a high volume business environment.
• Accounting background.
• Minimum 2 years work related experience.
• Experience within the hospitality or gaming industry an asset.
• POS data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
• Self-starter comfortable working both in a team environment and independently.
• Detail oriented and a keen learner.
