Marketing and Communications Manager

THE ROLE

The River Cree Resort and Casino, Alberta’s newest and most exciting entertainment destination is looking for a high-energy, creative personality with proven experience in. Working alongside the marketing team, the Marketing and Communications Manager will support key business objectives through the creation of memorable experiences for our customers.

 

JOB SUMMARY

The primary focus of this position will be to:

• Develop and implement marketing plan to support outlined Resort goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and implement current Branding Program.
• Develop all collateral and promotional marketing materials in collaboration with advertising agency.
• Creating and consistently executing property-wide communications.
• Coordinate and maintain Resort website.
• Respond to and manage sponsorship requests.
• Supervise marketing coordinator position.

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

• Related degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or advertising.
• Minimum of 5-6 years relevant work experience in the industry.
• Previous management or supervision experience.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong understanding of Integrated Marketing Communications
• Ability to manager projects effectively, on time and on budget
• Excellent editing and proof-reading skills
• A commitment to teamwork, leadership and integrity
• Excellent research and problem solving skills.
