Host

 

THE ROLE

The Host creates a safe, secure environment for guests and associates. In addition the Host will be responsilbe for the timely investigation, reporting and dcoumentation of incidents that occur in LIVE. In additional this person will be key in developing relationships with our guest to promote the venue and provide excellent customer sevice.

 

• Work as part of a team .
• Provide supervision and guidance to ensure security coverage is adequate for the maximum security safety of all guests, associates and assets.
• Ensure the security of the immediate surrounding area.
• Ensure all money is properly secured guarded and conveyed at all times.
• Be completly familiar with the physical layout of LIVE.
• Ensure all breaches of secruity are reported and recommend corrective action as required.
• Investigate accidents, report of theft, vandalism other occurrences and complaints from associates or customers thoroughly and completly.
• Comply with secruity policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
• Mentor maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
• Maintain good communication with resort security.

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

• Minimum 2 years experience in security, or combination of training, education and experience.
• Education in related field of study including law enforcement would be an asset.
• Must possess excellent communication skill both written and verbal.
• Be able to diffuse difficult situations without the use of force.
• Must be able to work shift work. .
• Must be able to apply customer service skills when dealing with intoxicated patrons and or groups. raining in management and employee development preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a Protect (AGLC) certificate.
