Promotions Assistant

THE PURPOSE

The River Cree Resort and Casino, Alberta’s most exciting entertainment destination is currently looking for an outgoing, dynamic individual for our promotions team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager, we are looking for someone to work with our Marketing team to make our promotions a success. The individual would also be responsible for coordinating the organization and operations of bus tours.

 

JOB SUMMARY

• Coordinating Set up of promotions with the Promotions and Guest Services Manager
• Decorating Resort for Resort Wide Promotions
• Coordinating operations of internal and external promotions and emceeing duties
• Acting as a greeter and point person for quests visiting via bus tours
• Taking pictures of promotions, events and promotion winners
• Responsible for organizing Marketing teams signage and other collateral displayed in the Casino as directed from the Manager
• Act as a liason between all departments resort wide involved with promotions
• Any other duties as required with Marketing Team and Guest Services Manager

 THE INDIVIDUAL

• Successful completion of a High School Diploma is necessary
• Minimum of 1 year of public speaking
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Minimum of 1 year of promotions
• Hospitality or Marketing diploma an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Experience in the gaming, hospitality, customer service or retail industry
• Dynamic, outgoing individual
• Organized
• Self Motivated
• Team Player
