THE COMPANY
River Cree Resort and Casino is a full-service/state of the art hotel and entertainment establishment located on the Enoch Nation (outside of Edmonton, Alberta). You will be involved in creating a culture based on outstanding customer service and customer loyalty.
THE ROLE his opportunity is for a dedicated manager to confidently control and manage the operations of the resort facility. Operationally, the General Manager is to lead the Resort and Casino facility, including our property wide business partners in the efforts to increase value, performance and profitability. The GM will do this by providing superior communication, reporting, expertise and strategic planning to deliverables skills. The charismatic individual will follow through by providing total direction and consultation to all team members to ensure team and guest loyalty alike.
The General Manager is directly responsible for the success of all departments.
A proven leader with a hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer
service and gaming experience.

REQUIREMENTS
- University or College degree
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a GM or Vice President role
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a management role of all casino operations.
- Specialization in a particular functional area or service in the gaming or hospitality industry either through university training in that area or through previous experience.
- Detailed understanding of guest services, marketing, human resources, security, financial, food and beverage, table games and slot department operations.
- Ability to obtain jurisdictional Gaming License.
- Must be willing to relocate with ability to work in Canada.
- Subject to a Due Diligence investigation by the AGLC.
- Must be flexible and willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
