Cleaner

THE ROLE

The main purpose of the job is to support and assist the responsible manager to maintain a safe and clean environment. The key role would be to maintain the cleanliness of the home to a very high standard. Duties include:

• Vacuum rooms and corridors and empty all waste bins.
• Clean glass and mirrors.
• Dust cobwebs.
• Sweep and mop floor surfaces.
• Clean the bathroom and toilet.
• Clean area as assigned.
• Ensure that rooms are odor free.
• Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person.
• Keep your cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all time and your cleaning materials safely stored.
• Be familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job.
• Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues and customers at all times.

• Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required by the center.  
• Turn in all lost and found items.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have previous customer service experience, preferably in a related environment
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not necessary
