Executive Assistant
THE COMPANY
River Cree Resort and Casino is a full-service/state of the art hotel and entertainment establishment located on the Enoch Nation (outside of Edmonton, Alberta). You will be involved in creating a culture based on outstanding customer service and customer loyalty.
THE ROLE
Directly reporting to the General Manager & Assistant General Manager, the Executive Assistant is focused on providing administrative services, coordination and support to the GM and AGM. The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing confidential administrative assistance to the General Manager & AGM ensuring effective and efficient workflow between the Executive office, EPLP Board, Enoch community offices and internal and external clients of the Casino.
REQUIREMENTS
- Maintains schedule and meetings for GM/AGM – addressing any conflicting priorities.
- Prepare outgoing correspondence in a timely and effective manner.
- Coordinate the preparation, production and submission of summary reports and certain financial reports.
- Review, prioritize and summarize incoming correspondence.
- Composes important and confidential correspondence requiring a broad knowledge of department operations and regulations.
- Follow up with clients and suppliers as requested.
- Provide additional support to others.
- Answer questions or inquiries regarding executive administration concerns in an appropriate manner, and direct calls or answer inquiries as required.
- Other duties as assigned
- The preferred candidate will be highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
- Fast learner and works well under pressure.
- Experience working with and coordinating demands of the Executive team including numerous other aspects of resort operations.
- Efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience
- The preferred candidate will have 3 years experience with superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with management, corporate and board level groups
