Event Center Ticket Cashiers

THE COMPANY

River Cree Resort and Casino is a full-service/state of the art hotel and entertainment establishment located on the Enoch Nation (outside of Edmonton, Alberta).  You will be involved in creating a culture based on outstanding customer service and customer loyalty. 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the position of Beverage Manager, the Event Centre Ticket Cashier will ensure they promote and maintain the utmost integrity and highest caliber of customer service and respect to all guests, associates and AGLC personnel. The individual is responsible for collecting the appropriate amount of currency from the guest upon selling Beverage Tickets.

• Collecting the appropriate amount of currency from guests and exchanging the appropriate amount of Beverage tickets.
• Must be reliable collecting cash float and returning cash float to cash cage with proper paper documents filled out.
• Must be able to work with currency and Beverage Ticket numbers accurately
• Familiarity of Micros computers.
• Walk around Casino Floor and Event Centre during event promoting and selling Beverage tickets.
• Standing behind Ticket Counter selling Beverage Tickets.
• Having accurate count of Beverage Tickets sold vs currency collected from ticket sales.
• Keeping currency properly organized.
• Act in a professional matter at all times with proper clean pressed uniform on.
• Be on time to 10 minute mandatory paid pre-shift meeting prior to schedule start time.
• Any Other Duties as required or requested by Beverage manager or Director of Food & Beverage

THE INDIVIDUAL

• High School Diploma an asset.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Previous experience with handling large sums of currency an asset.
• Independent thinker/worker.
• Bondable.

• Cheerful, positive attitude.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations.
