Count Room Clerk

THE ROLE

Reporting to the slot financial supervisor, the count room clerk will ensure they promote the utmost integrity and respect to all management and staff. Responsible for the slot count of currency pulled from slot terminals and TITO redemption kiosks.

• Ability to accept responsibility readily and grasp instructions
• Adhere to all policies and procedures for effective and secure cash flow
• Responsible for counting all currency and reconciling all associated paperwork
• Identify and report counterfeit currency
• Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of internal/external deposits - slot and outlet
• Monitor and report security and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for associates
• Daily maintenance of Cummings bill counter
• Currency visual at all times
• Due care and attention to terminal bill boxes
• Balancing and exporting of the daily currency count
• Poker Rake
• Balancing and reporting of the NRT kiosks
• Maintain currency for the ATM provider
• Any other duties as required

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

• High School Diploma an asset.
• Must be able to register with AGLC.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math (counting currency).
• Slot experience is an asset.
• Cash handling is a definite asset.
• Must be able to register with AGLC.
