Supervisor

PURPOSE

 

The main purpose of the job is to support and supervise the cleaners to maintain a safe

and clean environment. The key role would be to maintain employee relations, schedule and

monitor work performance.

THE ROLE

 

• Schedule appropriate workers as business demands require.
• Enter and maintain a record of time and attendance.
• Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person.
• Ensure cleaning area and space are clean and tidy at all times and that cleaning materials

           are safely stored.

• Be familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job.
• Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues and customers at all times.

 

• Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required by the casino.  
• Turn in all lost and found items.
• Coaching/counselling and performance management
• Ordering of supplies

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

• Should have demonstrated supervisor experience, preferably in a related environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Multi-tasking is required – candidate must be extremely organized
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day.

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
• Computer skills are an asset
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not necessary.
