Barback/Porter

THE COMPANY

River Cree Resort and Casino is a full-service/state of the art hotel and entertainment establishment located on the Enoch Nation (outside of Edmonton, Alberta).  You will be involved in creating a culture based on outstanding customer service and customer loyalty. 

 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the outlet Manager, the Barback will be responsible to assist the Bartender with stocking supplies, making coffee, and general cleaning.

• Promotes positive customer relations.
• Makes coffee as needed.
• Stocks beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers and dry goods.
• Washes and stocks glassware and utensils.
• Cleans bar area.
• Performs other duties deemed necessary or requested by the Bartender or Management.

 THE INDIVIDUAL

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.

• Up to 6 months beverage experience is an asset.
  Good health and personal hygiene.
• Has an interest in learning about food and beverage service.
• Has a cheerful, positive attitude.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Good with dealing with stressful situations.
